“Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. “The property was easy to get to via cab, I would not advise you to try and walk it as the road gets busy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and spacious, only thing I didnt like was the room had no AC, but a Dyson fan was in full use. The room had no fridge to put your water or drinks, no complementary biscuits, or herbal teas. Other wise I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay.”

“Excellent budget stay we use when attending comedy at the local theatre. 200 yards from the high street, plenty of places to eat. Breakfast is included and is more than acceptable. This hotel used to be a vibrant hub for functions and wedding receptions etc. the new owners stopped this, not sure how well the place will do long term. Fingers crossed.”

“Clean hotel but a bit dated in decor. Corridors are sometimes confusing within the newer blocks added. Bathrooms clean, food excellent. Breakfast buffet well worth the £12 fee. NO air conditioning and rooms exposed to the sunny side are very warm. Fans provided but inadequate to cool the room. Would still visit again.”

“Accommodated on the second floor up two large flights of stairs in the old part of the complex. No lifts. Not ideal if you've got COPD and Asthma, let alone artificial hip's. Would have been helpful if this had been brought to my attention prior to arriving etc. Prices for evening meals were also on the steep side.”

“Lovely comfy bed, spacious room, bathroom with actual bath, and nice toiletries. Room was very quiet. Hotel grounds were beautiful, we enjoyed the pool and spa. Dinner was okay, breakfast was very good. Drinks at the zest bar were very expensive (£7.50 Guinness and £12.50 for medium wine!)”

“Convenient to everything ddowntown around the Cardiff Castle. Staff was excellent and very helpful. It was a little hard to find and we had to park in the multi level car park a few blocks away. But loved the place. The only negative thing was the orange juice at breakfast. I'm sure it was a mistake I had already taken a few large gulps of it before I tasted it was very furmented. I didn't do very well from 12 to 24hrs after that because of that. However, the rest of the breakfast was top notch...

Quest'anno siamo stati accolti caldamente dalla Signora Brown e, vista la disabilità di mia moglie, abbiamo avuto una stanza al piano terreno. Nessun lamentela. Ritornando, l'addetto al reception, Linda, ci ha accolta con un sorriso e non poteva fare abastanza per noi. L'unico problema di cui possiamo lamentare è stato l'odore di "chiuso" in entrambi i casi. “Arrived at the property and called to check in. Was told that property was closed for refurbishment and I had to go to a different property managed by them 15 minutes away. Got there and room was minimal and bare. Host was nice but it wasn’t an aparthotel as the original one was advertised as. I left and booked a night at a local Travelodge instead. ”

“My husband and I stayed here recently while visiting a friend who lives just a short walk away, and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed! The bed was a little more firm that we are used to, but that seems to be a common thing we encountered with UK beds, in general and is not a complaint about this establishment in any way. The owner was very helpful and pleasant, and we would definitely consider staying here again for future visits!”
